Given my accounting and investment background it was natural for me to approach the possibility of further collaboration between the two organizations from a business perspective. From this perspective it was easy to see that Master Yoga Foundation was not a stand alone organization.
Gradually I came to understand that this viewpoint was limited. I had been looking at MYF by way of its financial limitations rather from its stated vision. When I viewed the additional collaboration from the Board’s goal of serving the Svaroopa® yoga teaching community, it became clear that having a consolidated program would make the most sense for the teachers.
One Source, one vision providing the foundation for the teachers to bring the experience of svaroopa to their students.
