Release equals support. No, it’s not a typo! With the abhishek ceremony and her head shaving last weekend, Swami Nirmalananda has again deepened the ways she serves us. The two of us join Amala (President of SVA Board) in releasing Swamiji from Board leadership and administrative tasks. Now she has the freedom to support the community more deeply, while continuing to support us through her service on both Boards as Master Teacher. This new freedom for Swamiji means more access to the teachings on all levels for you — at any level you choose. So release = support = release!
Sharada (JenMarie) Macdonald
Sharada began as our Business Manager last week, now working part time for SVA and part time for MYF. She says, “I couldn’t imagine a more supportive way to start my first week than Swamiji’s ceremony. It is delightful releasing Swamiji from admin responsibilities, and serving Swamiji and Svaroopis in this new way. Working with the Master Yoga staff is, of course, great (working with Svaroopis always is, isn’t it?). Everyone is doing everything that they can to serve you and your practice. Even amid the shift, they haven’t skipped a beat. In fact, we are working to provide even more support. For example, a new Tech Support team of sevites is training this week to support you with our new Enrollment System.”
Shuchi adds, “I can’t imagine where we would be without adding Sharada’s competent, helpful hands. Our Admin team has just linked our website calendar to our new Enrollment System, we’re wrapping up The Fire of Yoga fundraising campaign, setting up next year’s course schedule, and you’ll be receiving a beautiful new poster mailer in the next couple of days plus we have all the upcoming Conference details…. there’s a lot going on! Sharada will be more than busy organizing and coordinating the efforts of staff and sevites as we move ahead.”

While our goal is always toward providing extraordinary Teacher Training programs, our Board is very mindful of how we are using the resources you entrust with us!
