Goings

Last Saturday night’s ceremony was deeply meaningful to all who attended, featuring Swami Nirmalananda’s head-shaving to celebrate her departure from Master Yoga’s Presidency.

Having led our Reawakening, which encompassed many programming and administrative processes, she is delighted to be returning to her focus on teaching and writing, while continuing to teach in Master Yoga’s Exton programs and support our Teacher Trainers.  Master Yoga’s Board has asked Swamiji to continue as a Member, as well as to be available in the transitionary process.

SATYA members may request a lock of Swamiji’s hair from the ceremony.  Simply mail a SASE to Master Yoga, 363 E Lincoln Highway, Suite 200, Exton PA 19341. We will send the care packages out on a first-come, first-served basis.

Comings

We are welcoming Sharada (JenMarie) Macdonald as our new Business Administration Manager.  She is assuming many of Swamiji’s administrative responsibilities, to provide needed support for our hard-working staff and our whole organization.

Currently serving Svaroopa^® Vidya Ashram, Sharada has worked closely with Swami Nirmalananda for more than two years, as well as providing assistance with some key projects in Master Yoga’s Reawakening.  Sharada will continue to serve the Ashram as well, which means we are deepening our collaboration between our two sister organizations, providing cohesive leadership as well as economies of scale, recognized as necessary by both Boards.

We are very excited about Sharada’s skills and dedication as well as her ability to build a team, with both staff and sevites, to support our service to our community.  We have already begun and will be seeing the fruits of everyone’s hard work in the implementation of our new Enrollment System and other Reawakening projects still under way.
